The Cincinnati Triathlon & Multisport Festival is a reboot of the Red, White, and Zoom Triathlon and the Zoom Triathlon Race Series. Due to the steady growth of those races, we had to move from Cowan Lake to Caesar Creek State Park so we could accommodate more racers! As COVID-19 impacted the racing industry, it was time to refresh our racing calendar and bring back a park from our past. Zoom Multisport began its racing career 10 years ago with a 3-race series at Caesar Creek State Park. Ten years later we are returning home to our roots! Please join us for a race with a new name, but with the same old Zoom Multisport feel (and some COVID-19 protocols). We are looking forward to racing again at Caesar Creek State Park!

Everyone who registers (at least 2 weeks in advance) will get a sweet finisher medal. (Design and pics coming soon!)
To be guaranteed a race medal, you must register at least 2 weeks in advance of the race.
These will be placed in your race packet at the start of the event.
While we cannot party after the race, we can give you all the tools to celebrate with family or friends at home. After the race we will give you a goodie bag with a to-go meal. So take that, and all your swag (finisher medal is in the packet at the beginning of the race) and go home to show off your accomplishment.
There will not be a post-race party. Instead we are giving athletes their post-race meal to go when they finish the race. You can pick up your post-race meal goodie bag after you cross the finish line.
Spectators are not permitted on the course, at start line, or finish line.
Participants are encouraged to gather their belongings and leave immediately after the event. There is to be no congregating before or after the race.
We will have a photographer out on course to take your pictures while you race. Our professional photographer will get pictures of you racing, and we will post these for you to share with your friends. The photos are free and a part of your race experience.
We will post all pictures on Facebook.com/zoomracingusa after the race for you to like, tag and share! The photographer takes over 500 pictures so it may take a week or 2 to get them all edited and online. Please be patient. We will email everyone when the photos are ready.
Results will be available online at Speedy-Feet.com right after the race, or you can see them here later in the day.
Results will be submitted to USA Triathlon within 15 days of the race. Results are submitted in 5-year age group increments for the triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and aquathlon for the purposes of USAT rankings.
Please use the contact form to alert us of any timing issues or to address any results-related questions.
4:00pm-6:00pm: Registration and Packet Pick-up at the beachfront
We will end timing at 1:00 p.m., meaning that racers will have to be completed with their race by this time. This gives ⅓ Iron athletes about 6 hours to complete their race, and all other racers 3-4 hours. This should be plenty of time, but if you cannot make the time cut off, please choose a different race distance.
To maintain social distancing we will be starting our races in a time trial format, allowing only a few athletes to start at once. We will then wait a little and then release the next athletes. This should allow athletes to spread out and maintain distance from one another on course. Here are the starting details:
There will not be a pre-race meeting. Please review the information in the athlete guide and race website for more information. You may ask questions of our staff as needed on race day, but please try to email or call us with questions in advance of the race. All races will start at the beachfront, with the exception of the duathlons, which start at the run out area of transition.
Race will start in waves, and each wave will take 15-30 minutes to start all racers. Please arrive at the beginning of the waves. All swim race segments will begin on land, and athletes will have to run or walk into the water to start their swim. Athletes will line up in their starting corral, and the race starter will release 3 athletes approximately every 10 seconds. 3 athletes will be called forward; athletes may line up as they like. Once the 3 athletes go, the next 3 athletes will move to the start line, and so on. The starter will continue to release athletes 3 at a time until all athletes have started the race.
Any athlete that misses their start time, will start with the next race wave. Please alert the starter if this happens to you. Please arrive at your designated start area at least 15 minutes before your race begins.
Athletes can pick up their race packets on Saturday from 4-6pm or on race morning starting at 5:45am. Packet pickup will be at the Beachfront; please look for the white tents and the registration signs. Packet Pickup will work like this:
Please register online before you come to packet pick-up. There is no in-person race day registration at the race venue. Registration will remain open online through the start of the last race, so register before you come.
Please wear a mask and socially distance at least 6-10 feet from everyone at the race venue. Everyone will be asked to wear a mask when they are not actively running. Disposable masks will be available for those who forget, lose or damage their mask on race day.
You are welcome to pick-up packets for friends or family members. We hope this will limit groups of people and cut down on the number of people picking up packets.
Athletes will line up outside the registration tent, spacing 6 feet apart. A staff member will call you up to registration and first discuss with you the results of your COVID-19 Home Safety Self Check (see above). If you can answer no to all the questions, you will be able to pick up your packet. Give the staff your name and they will give you your race packet, which includes:
NOTE: You will get your timing chip race morning, so please come back to the registration area for that race morning.
NOTE: You are asked to body mark yourself at home before you come to the race venue. We will email you your race number in advance. Please see below for more information on how to mark yourself.
Body marking is an essential part of triathlons and other multisport races. Body marking means writing your race numbers of your body. These numbers help identify you on race day and can be used to help timers, volunteers, staff, and emergency workers identify you on race day. Every racer except those doing the run, cycling time trial or open swim, need to complete body marking.
NOTE: Please use the following guide to body mark yourself at home before you come on race day. If you forget or are unable to do this, we will have markers available for personal use on race day.
Here is what you will need:
Mark your body or have a friend/family member help you: Write Race number on RIGHT & LEFT BICEP. Be sure the Race Number is written vertically on both sides of the bicep..
NOTE; If an athlete cannot reach their bicep, race number can be written on the back of the hand on both sides. Please also make them horizontal and large.
